Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Jamii Family ("the Service"), operated by Izyo Digital, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Jamii Family is a family management platform that provides tools for shared calendars, task management, meal planning, shopping lists, family messaging, budget tracking, and document management. The Service is available via web browser and mobile applications.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at info@izyodigital.com.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Parents/guardians may add children to their family workspace.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free Plan

A free plan is available with limited features. No payment information is required for the free plan.

4.2 Paid Plans

Paid plans (Standard and Premium) are billed on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes.

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer partial refunds for unused periods, except where required by applicable law.

4.4 Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the Service
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without our written consent

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload or create within Jamii Family ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your User Content. We do not monitor User Content but reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The Jamii Family platform, including its design, features, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Izyo Digital and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not use our branding, logos, or trademarks without prior written permission.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IZYO DIGITAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in any conduct that we deem harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Montreal, Quebec.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
